Hi! Please tell us a little about yourself and your daily

Hi, I’m Kiki Moka, the Head Mixologist for Union Group Jakarta. My day-to-day activities include running The Cocktail Club Jakarta in Senopati.

How would you describe your food preferences?
Asian Local food is my favorite dish.

Which restaurants have you visited recently and managed to impress you?
I didn’t discover a new favorite restaurant recently, but one of my recent dishes was my hometown food and my mother-in-law’s cooking. Both have always been my favorite.

Korean and Japanese hotpot or barbeque.

What’s your favorite local dish, and where do you go to eat it?
My hometown dish! Nasi campur, Coto Makassar and Pallubasa at Pasar Senen and Marannu in Dewi Sartika.

Highball or Tequila shot, it’s easy and refreshing.

What things usually attract you to visit a place to eat?
When they have a unique twist on a classic dish or East Indonesian-style food. East Indonesian dishes are my favorite; I like food from Makassar, Manado, Ambon, and Papua.

A lot, hahaha. But so far, my favorite is the Mango Curry.

Do you have any favorite local spirits?
Palm Sap Spirit; Arak and Sopi.

What is your go-to recipe for a quick and easy drink at home?
Highball is an effortless drink to make. You only need a spirit of your choice, a soft drink – a Tonic or Soda, and complete it with a twist of fresh lime.

What drink would you recommend if people want to go to the Cocktail Club?
It will depend on the guest’s mood. They can choose if they want something fresh, dry, fruity, or a more straightforward cocktail.
