This will mark his second visit to Tom’s Jakarta, with an ecstatic spirit in sharing his spectacular crafts with the plates of all culinary enthusiasts.
A Palatable Two-timed Dinner Testing Menu
Serving to the table an irresistible set of dinner testing menu at 24th and 25th November, Tom Aikens will launch the highly-styled 9-courses dégustation menu consisted of attractive options such as slow cooked crab with lime, nori and tapioca crisp to lift up the appetite and alluring starter of Ricotta cheese with honey, truffle, leek as an intro to the succulent dinner journey.
Tom’s will also serve wood roasted potato mousseline soup with sorrel and onion custard, before introducing the fetching confit Salmon with jasmine & apple as the first course. For the selection of pasta, a lavish plate of Lobster Vermicelli dressed in whey butter sauce, mushroom Duxcelle and caviar will be served. Move on to marinated pear carpaccio with citrus sorbet as a befitting palette cleanser before the main course of the rich taste roasted lamb loin featuring burnt aubergine, chickpeas, and black garlic aioli. As a sweet outro, white chocolate with lime and basil and mignardises are set to fulfil your dessert craving.
The Dinner Testing Menu is available at IDR 2,288,000++ per person for the regular table and at IDR 2,988,000++ per person for table by the window, inclusive of a complimentary glass of champagne or selected beverage from our cocktail trolley.
Tom's by Tom Aikens New Weekend Brunch Menu
The long-awaited Weekend Brunch Menu is finally here with a highly anticipated set of courses curated by Tom Aikens himself. The brunch fiesta will start on the 26th and 27th every Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 3 p.m.
Expect a list of spectacular menus such as a buffet of cold seafood consisting of Kumamoto oysters, king prawns, lobsters, yabbies, and mud crab; the favorite cheese counter filled with English cheese, chutney, grissini, lavosh, cheese crackers, assorted bread, chutney, berries, and honeycomb; treacle cured salmon with smoked potato, yogurt, and dill; also the 28-ingredients Tom’s signature slaw with spiced nut, coriander.
Tom’s will also be serving wagyu carpaccio with rocket pesto, basil, and balsamic; chopped kale Caesar salad with shaved apple & fennel cashew dressing, sourdough croutons, cashew granola crumble, toasted yeast; fried spicy cauliflower nuggets with buttermilk dressing; and the fresh salad of heirloom tomatoes with smoked tomato jam, stracciatella, and tomato sorbet.
The sumptuous main course options in limited a la carte include the tandoori spiced chicken paillard, wild mushroom tart, signature beef wellington of US prime tenderloin, salmon and smoked trout fish cakes, and last but not least, lobster and asparagus muffin.
For dessert lovers, the Chef will astonish the guests with a chocolate fondant with figs, sherry trifle with vanilla custard and berry compote, lemon yogurt and poppy seed pannacotta, tiramisu sundae, whole cake and tart of berries cheesecake or banana Tarte Tatin, choices of raspberry and almond Bakewell, lemon meringue pie and hazelnut and caramel choux on Saturday.
On Sunday, look forward to delightful choices of dessert such as sticky toffee pudding, lemon and yogurt mousse, pecan granola and lemon curd, Greek yogurt with aged balsamic and strawberries, whole cake and tart of dark chocolate and pistachio tart or vanilla and mango cheesecake and choices of chocolate and orange Cake, strawberry and vanilla millefeuille or caramel flan.
