B.A.T.S. will be temporarily taken over from 20 to 22 October 2022 in a spectacular collaboration with Raging Bull Burgers and The Back Room. These are two well-known names that grew up in Shangri-La The Fort Manila and are now considered household names in the Philippines, has also shown off their delicacies abroad.
Raging Bull Burgers serves burgers with a rock-star conscience and attitude. Perfect for sating the palate with a meaty and mouth-watering filler. Chargrilled and accompanied with fresh, locally sourced produce and a special secret sauce made in-house. Patties are made from choice cuts of brisket, rump, and Wagyu Beef and marinated in an original seasoning mix.
Raging Bull Burger’s Chef de Partie, Chef Glenda Bonaobra, began her culinary journey in the country’s integrated resorts and casino properties. Chef Glenda has trained under numerous chefs and mentors well-established in the industry, and they have influenced and honed her culinary expertise. She flies directly from Manila to present her delectable fare with her unquestionable craftsmanship in creating burgers hailed as Manila’s best-tasting. Prices start at IDR 150,000++.
The Back Room, a Speakeasy Bar at Shangri-La The Fort, focuses on craft gins and regional flavors to round off the deliciousness for guests’ palates. These gins are now presented at Shangri-La Jakarta with a series of delicious cocktails curated by Alex Renou, Shangri-La The Fort, Manila’s beverage manager, directly. Originally from Corsica, Alex has lived and worked around the globe, adding flare to his experiences as he unearths different flavors of cocktails worldwide. His creations are just about out-of-this-world, as he loves to surprise his guests with various cocktail flavors. His passion and experience have led to The Back Room Shangri-La The Fort being nominated for Asia’s 50 Best Bars and named Best City Bar by the 2022 Travel & Leisure Awards.
One of The Back Room’s well-known gin creations, Bee’s Knees Gin, is made with locally grown ingredients from the Philippines, including Dalandan, Malunggay, and Sampaguita, also known as sweet orange, moringa, and is further flavored with Arabian jasmine.
In addition to providing tasty cuisine and entertaining beverages, B.A.T.S. will introduce guests to rodeo attractions through the mixologist’s remarkable passion during this time.
