Following a year filled with diverse culinary experiences in 2023, Lazy Susan has introduced Mari-Mari—a Food Playground concept restaurant offering a new way to savor Indonesian cuisine. Located on the 2nd floor of Jl. Gandaria 1 no.57a, Mari-Mari is now open to the public and welcomes visitors of all ages.

Through Mari-Mari, Lazy Susan presents Indonesian food and flavors with innovation. Embracing the concept of play, there are 7 Stations, each offering a variety of menus developed from the familiar tastes and dishes of Indonesia. These stations include Nasi Goreng, Fried Snacks, Munchies, Mix ‘n Match, Sweets, Shaved Delights, and Crunchy Bites. Within these stations, you can find a selection of dishes, such as customizable Nasi Goreng, Gepuk Nona Susan, and Si Sayap Pop. Mari-Mari has also partnered with various food collaborators, including Beras Baik (Sragen), Mandai and Rabuk (The Breakfast Club – Samarinda), Ikan Toman Cold Smoke (Sintang, West Kalimantan), Gulai Kuning (Warung Pak Chandra – Jakarta), Cendol Canele (Nid’s Apron – Jakarta), and several other collaborators.

Mari-Mari also collaborates with select SMEs, offering legendary dishes such as Nasi Goreng Pak Asiri from Wijaya and Nasi Goreng Gila Abah Liem. Each dish at Mari-Mari is a new story and flavor waiting to be discovered.

“We want Mari-Mari’s visitors to have an experience that goes beyond delicious food, one that also engages their eyes, taste buds, hearts, and ears. When visitors choose their food at Mari-Mari, they will enjoy a delightful experience through visuals, activities, sounds, and space design,” said Lazy Susan’s CEO, Alyandra Katya.

In addition to the sense of taste, Mari-Mari indulges all other senses with visual art and music curation created by artists from various Indonesian islands, including Tiny Studio (Jakarta), Harousel (Yogyakarta), Parti Gastronomi (Bandung), Rakhmat Jaka (South Kalimantan), Nonana (Lampung), Yahya DK (Yogyakarta), Liko Sukhoyd (Jakarta), Ade Ardhana (Bali). The music selection is curated by Munir “Midnight Runners” (Bandung). Visitors can also memorize the Mari-Mari jingle produced by Ibee Music and the MariMari team.

The culinary experience at Mari-Mari is suitable for all ages, including children. There are kid-friendly menus, drawing activities, and enjoyable chef’s hat-wearing moments. Mari-Mari is the perfect place for visitors looking for a culinary experience that the whole family can enjoy. Now is the time to savor Indonesian cuisine with a delightful new experience.

Come play and dine together to celebrate the allure of Indonesia, one plate at a time!

LAZY SUSAN serves a delectable experience designed to delve deeper into the world of food. We believe in the importance of combining culinary and entertainment to elevate the potential of the industry we are a part of. Our goal is to be a gateway for various cultural innovations in the future.
