Here, you’re invited to immerse yourself in an experience of mythological tales… to step inside your own story as you pick your poison, and enter a world of vengeful ghosts, stopped clocks and pickpocketing monkeys.
Or sit back and relax in a cocktail lounge with tasty drinks and food, cabinets of curious items and strange projected apparitions on the window. With cocktail recipes conjured by Locavore’s head alchemist, Raka, Night Rooster’s menu of seasonal drinks follow locally available herbs and fruits instead of imported produce.
Expect the interesting use of tropical ingredients, from bloodberries and mung beans to tobacco leaves and dehydrated candied jackfruit, with brand new concoctions appearing regularly.
For the peckish drinkers, a selection of eccentric eats is also available to order during your visit. This month’s menu includes Bone Marrow & Oxtail Croquette with grainy mustard & pickled shallots, Cured Butternut Pumpkin Sando with sour cream, mustard, chives & dill pickles and Warm Prawn Salad with lobster emulsion, melba toast & fermented tomato powder. Every Saturday the menu is replaced by Skewed Tastes, a weekly ritual of things on sticks cooked over fire.
