Miracle Coffee officially took its new place in the lobby of the ArtScience Museum on December 6th, following the grand opening event inaugurated by Singaporean pop superstar and award-winning founder of Miracle Coffee, JJ Lin, along with Marina Bay Sands’ Chief Operating Officer, Paul Town.

The private event on the opening day was attended by over 120 invited guests, including media colleagues and local celebrities such as singers Carrie Yeo, Diya Tan, Hong Junyang, Joi Chua, and Serene Koong, beatboxer Dharni, hip-hop artist and songwriter ShiGGa Shay, actors Allan Wu and Bonnie Loo, national badminton player Loh Kean Yew, and radio hosts Edward Russell, Hazelle Teo, Jean Danker, and Kimberly Wang. The opening ceremony also marked the debut of The Miracle Lab, a platform for coffee enthusiasts to connect and discuss coffee and innovation.

“We always wanted Miracle Coffee to be more than just a cafe, where dreamers and coffee enthusiasts could gather to enjoy everyday wonders. The launch of our outlet in Singapore and the Miracle Lab will provide more opportunities to build the local coffee community through unique collaborations with various industry partners,” said JJ Lin.

The collaboration was showcased on the opening day with renowned local coffee artisans Equate Coffee, Glyph Supply Co, and Homeground Coffee Roasters joining JJ Lin to showcase their creations and share coffee-making tips through a special coffee flight named The Miracle 4. Priced at S$20 (approximately Rp230,000) per cup, this coffee blend will be available for a limited time until December 31, using single-origin coffee beans from Miracle Coffee.

To commemorate this partnership, all proceeds from The Miracle 4 sales from December 6 to 10 will be donated to the Metta Welfare Association, an organization managing cafes run by youths with special needs. In a show of commitment, Marina Bay Sands will match the collected amount as a donation.

Paul Town, Chief Operating Officer of Marina Bay Sands, stated, “Marina Bay Sands is proud to have embarked on this journey with JJ Lin, from dreaming of the first outdoor Miracle Coffee pop-up at the Rain Oculus to opening the final pit stop with the Miracle Racing Team during the Singapore Grand Prix season, and finally, inaugurating the eagerly awaited flagship cafe in the ArtScience Museum lobby.

Today, we celebrate the culmination of achievements with pride in having a permanent cafe in our homeland. We eagerly welcome the prospect of this collaboration that will continue to carve new chapters in our history in 2024 and beyond, as the coffee enthusiast community aligns with our values and spirit.”

More than just a cafe: The debut of Miracle Lab

Broadcasted live on Instagram @jjlin and @miraclecoffeesg, the first edition of The Miracle Lab provided fans and the general public with insights into the fascinating world of coffee.

The session began with Miracle Coffee’s Ed Ng introducing one of the two new coffee blends, Miracle Dream. Inspired by the flora and fauna of the Garden City, this flavorful and Instagram-worthy drink features a base of fresh lemon juice with the distinctive butterfly pea flower, ending with a shot of single-origin Peru espresso roasted to a medium roast with a sweet apple-like aroma. The lingering caramel notes add richness to the drink, concluding with a refreshing touch of coconut water and fizzy soda to create a tantalizing experience for the taste buds and senses.

Next, JJ invited partner and Equate Coffee co-founder Ryan Pang to introduce Miracle Equate, a new blend highlighting the bold essence of nutty cold brew combined with tonic water and delicate chrysanthemum tea aroma. Glyph Supply Co co-founder Pua Yisin then showcased her talent through Miracle Glyph, a delightful concoction featuring orange, pear, and elderflower flavors. Finally, Homeground Coffee Roasters co-founder Elysia Tan unveiled Miracle Homeground, a creative coffee with a smooth combination of yogurt, mango aroma, yuzu acidity, and a dark chocolate finish.

Miracle Coffee unveils new menu in Singapore

The flagship Miracle Coffee outlet’s latest menu will be enhanced by a range of unique desserts created in collaboration with Marina Bay Sands’ Executive Pastry Chef, Hoi Kuok I. Alongside special menu items inspired by local dishes, such as Prawn Laksa and Crab Otah, Hainanese Chicken, gourmet wraps, salads, freshly baked Miracle Cloud Bread, and more.

The desserts showcase popular local ingredients that evoke JJ’s childhood memories, from traditional ice cream cart favorites like Rainbow Roti to mini cakes filled with a combination of strawberry mousse, pandan, pineapple, and vanilla. Nostalgic Nanyang coffee aromas can be experienced in the crispy Coffee Choux Puff filled with Hainanese-style coffee pudding.

The cafe also offers four cloud-shaped mini cakes representing the distinctive Miracle Coffee cloud logo and inspired by Singapore’s tropical climate and clear skies. Choose the Coconut Malibu Tiramisu, crafted with Miracle Coffee’s blend infused with Malibu coconut rum and coconut water, or the Miracle Milo Dinosaur, featuring Milo mousse, flourless chocolate cake, and caramel condensed milk sprinkled with Milo powder.

In addition to sliced cakes, Miracle Coffee now offers a selection of whole cakes for takeaway. Delight loved ones with the Miracle Checkerboard Cake, a classic butter cake adorned with Miracle Coffee’s signature colors, the Blue Pea Coconut Cloud Roll, a blue pea nut roll embracing a layer of pandan-flavored jelly and fresh coconut flesh, and Singaporean favorite, the Kaya Bandung Chiffon Cake—a perfect blend of pandan coconut and rose syrup that harmoniously melds in every bite.

Aside from offering beloved items like the exclusive-to-Singapore Kaya Cloud and founder’s signature smoothie, JJ’s Wonderblend, fans can also look forward to a drinkable version of Miracle Tiramisu, a creative twist on the popular Italian dessert with crunchy ladyfinger bits.

Coffee enthusiasts will savor the satisfaction of enjoying globally sourced single-origin coffee beans at Miracle Coffee. From a diverse menu of special coffees, lattes, to pour-over coffees, Miracle Coffee exclusively uses carefully selected single-origin coffee beans, JJ’s preferred choice for an extraordinary coffee-drinking experience. The Miracle Coffee team collaborates with suppliers committed to ethical and sustainable resources, regularly updating the collection to present seasonal coffee beans to customers. The current seasonal coffee options include single-origin beans from Peru for espresso-based drinks, as well as Papua New Guinea (Tairora Washed) and Myanmar (Pa’O Natural) for unique and special pour-over drinks.
