BALI, INDONESIA, May 11, 2026. Premium tequila brand mixing mexican terroir with indian creativity, Loca Loka, celebrate their official Indonesia debut with celebrations at Origen Mexican Restaurant in Bali. Founded by Rana Daggubati, Anirudh Ravichander, and Sree Harsha Vadlamudi, the 100% brand keeps strengthening their southeast asia presence following a launch in the Philippines last month.

From South Jakarta’s speakeasies to Seminyak’s beachfront lounges, Indonesia’s increasing luxury hospitality, thriving cocktail culture, and big growth in the premium spirit market represent a next chapter for Loca Loka. Guests at the Origen experienced Raspado caricatures, Cantarito painting, and Piñata activities exploring the tequila.

Crafted in Mexico, under the the guidance of third generation master distiller Willy Bañuelos Ramírez, Loca Loka introduces Indonesian consumers to their two award winning tequila’s Loca Loka Blanco and Loca Loka Reposado. Made with traditional tahona milling, brick oven roasting, and thoughtful barrel maturation in French and American oak honoring natural agave. The brand name is composed of Loca (Spanish for “crazy”) meets Loka (Sanskrit for “world”) representing its cross cultural identity.

Willy Bañuelos Ramírez, Third-Generation Master Distiller & Head of Production, Hacienda de Bañuelos, immersed guests in the world of agave and as he shared the artistry and generational expertise behind Loca Loka Tequila, he said, “”Great tequila should taste like where it comes from.  At Loca Loka, authenticity means patience, which usually means – a six to eight years for agave to mature, slow roasting in brick ovens, natural fermentation and careful oak aging. No additives, no artificial color, no shortcuts that compromise flavor. When someone in Indonesia pours our Blanco or Reposado, they’re tasting highland agave as it was meant to be experienced: honest, complex, and rooted in generations of knowledge. That’s the kind of drink worth sharing.”
