Raymond Rjaily Appointed as Executive Chef of Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta
Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta is delighted to welcome Raymond Rjaily as the new Executive Chef. With more than 17 years of experience, Chef Raymond brings with him a progressive culinary leadership experience to provide exceptional dining experiences in a luxury hospitality environment.
Hailing from Lebanon, Chef Raymond is no stranger to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, having first been appointed as Chef de Cuisine at Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur. Four years later, his culinary journey took him to China as Executive Sous Chef at Mandarin Oriental, Pudong – leading six F&B outlets and banqueting. In December 2016, Chef Raymond joined one of the group’s flagship hotel, Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok as the Executive Sous Chef.
As Executive Chef, Chef Raymond oversees the hotel’s three dining venues, including all-day-dining restaurant – Cinnamon, the renowned Li Feng – known for its innovative Cantonese cuisine, and the popular French restaurant, Lyon. He also oversees the hotel’s signature The Mandarin Cake Shop, poolside bar Azure, in-room dining and banquets.
