Stopover at Slatan
Slatan is a cafe in southern Jakarta offering coffee, tea, and chocolate.
I found that, Slatan, located in Kemang neighborhood, is a comfy place to pummel through against my deadlines. The place is not too big but it is decorated nicely.
The interior has a calming ambiance with white and pastel blue tones. The design is minimalist: there’s a sofa that sits three full of small pillows and four additional chairs. There’s also a wooden table with more chairs.
There is a shelf full not only interesting magazines for tactile inspirations, but also novels and vintage camera.
I chose to have latte on recent afternoon I stopped by. They use coffee beans from Sulawesi. My latte taste is little bit on the fruity side; I added some sugar, just enough to mellow the fruitiness without losing them. More espresso-based drinks are coming from their La Marzocco.
Aside from coffee, they also offer various kinds of tea like sweet berries, lemon breeze, apple mint, and chamomile.
Slatan have outdoor space also for you who wants to smoke while enjoying their beverages and snacks. I would come again next time to trying their tea and chocolate.
Psst, their WiFi password is singgahdislatan.
