Bar Takeover at UNA

Four talented bartenders from Singapore showcased their creations at the after party of Art Stage Jakarta.

After a day full of programs of the opening Art Stage Jakarta, guests were invited to have after party at UNA bar, Pullman Thamrin, Jakarta, on Aug. 11, 2017.

Each of the bartenders represent bars listed at Asia’s Best 50 Bars 2017.

Juan Yijun from Operation Dagger.
The sous bartender of Operation Dagger created Gomashio Highball. It is a mixture of vodka, sesame distillate, ginger juice, Japanese cucumber juice, fresh lime, agave nectar and soda water. It is light and refreshing, a perfect fit as first beverage on a party.

Sim Sze Wei from Atlas Bar
Sim was the winner of Elit Vodka Art of Martini Singapore 2017. It was a cocktail competition where bartenders from around Singapore were invited to create the most cutting edges interpretation of the classic cocktails. He served the signature cocktail from Atlas Bar called Atlas Martini, created from Bombay shappire, bianco vermouth, orange bitter and champagne vinegar.

Sam Loh from Jigger & Pony
Sam who has bubbly personality made a strong cocktail on that night. He showcased Donkey Kong cocktail, a mixture of bourbon, sweet vermouth, nardini rubarbaro and banana chips.

Charmaine Ann Thio from 28 Hong Kong Street
Last but not least, Charmaine is the Deputy Bar Captain of 28 Hong Kong Street who was serving a fresh cocktail to end the line up. It’s called Slip Me a Mickey which consists of Bombay sapphire, fernet branca, lime juice and ginger syrup.

It was a one great night and we’re can’t wait for the next bar takeover event at UNA Bar of Pullman Thamrin.
