Ippudo Ramen opened a new outlet at Central Park Mall Jakarta after finding success with its first outlet at Pacific Place Mall Jakarta.

Founded in 1985, Ippudo is a Hakata-style tonkotsu (pork-based) ramen from Japan. They have more than 80 stores in Japan and more than 40 stores worldwide, including in London, New York and Sydney.

“We are delighted to open a new outlet in Indonesia,” said Lucas Law, country manager of, Ippudo Indonesia. “This expansion is encouraged by the strong response from our consumers through active in-store customer interactions, loyal customer appreciation events, and feedback forms.”

The new store, occupying a total of 128-square-meter area, comes with seating capacity for 50 and is armed with an adaptation of Japanese vintage ambiance for its interior. The walls are decorated with sake bottles and calligraphy. The interior is also painted in warm colors intended to accompany casual dining between friends and relatives.

The menu offers classic Ippudo dishes such as potato salad, Goma Q, peperoncino edamame, salmon mango salad, green salad, classic gyoza, Ippudo buns, sake mentai rice, salmon roll, Ippudo teppan fried rice and of course Ippudo’s famous ramen: shiromaru, akamaru, karaka-men, miso ramen and shoyu ramen. However, in Central Park, some of the ramen dishes come with smaller portion option for young ones and those wanting a lighter meal.
