The local branch of one of Melbourne’s best one of the best coffee shops and roasters has launched their new seasonal menu.

HEAD CHEF Gloria Susindra said that the Spring-Summer menu were lighter with more vegetables, fish and lamb. “It’s healthier for that summer body,” Gloria said with a laugh.

According to her, more and more Jakartans were seeking food with low fat, high protein and less processed ingredients. The menu will last until April before moving on to the next season.

More than a dozen dishes were added to the menu. Among the main highlights were Salmon & Beats (pan seared salmon, textures of beetroot, kali, pomegranate, barley, baby leaves), The Daddy 2.0 (ham hock and seeded mustard terrine, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce on milk bun), Brisket and Eggs (slow braised Australian beef brisket, fried eggs, cippollini onion, cherry tomatoes, fried parsley, brisket jus), and Green Hummus Bowl (Garbanzo bean and spinach hummus, broccoli, asparagus, roasted baby carrots, grains and seed).

“The Daddy 2.0 is our breakfast burger. This one is a bit on the unhealthy side of the menu. More fat, but it’s good!” Gloria said. According to her the menu is 85 percent identical with the Melbourne’s headquarter.

Gloria added there were possibilities of adding or changing dishes throughout the season. “We’ll listen to customers comments, we’re definitely going to do adjustment if needed. However, so far, the new menu has been received well!”
